Hi, I’m Kat.
lifelong creative, problem-solver, and maker of all things. Whether I’m designing a brand identity, stitching up a custom embroidery piece, or baking a key lime pie from scratch, I love bringing ideas to life in fresh and unexpected ways.
A sunny San Diego Transplant originally from Georgia, I spend my days creating and my free time hanging out with my husband, Thomas, our two amazing kids, Tripp & Georgia, and our golden doodles, Nado and Fenway. You can usually find me reading, practicing yoga, singing and playing guitar, or enjoying a great glass of wine…or a well-made espresso martini :)
My love for creativity started early—I was that kid always making something, from doodles to DIY projects. In high school, I fell in love with graphic design, typography, and illustration, then took it further with a degree in mass communication and marketing. Since then, I’ve spent my career immersed in the fast-paced world of startups. I got my start at an experiential digital marketing agency, juggling 15-20+ brands at once, before moving to the brand side at Suja Organic when it was still in its early days. There, I helped shape the brand into what you see on shelves today, taking on everything from creative direction to broader marketing strategy. I’ve also taught digital marketing to senior students at FIDM in Los Angeles and worked with countless clients freelancing for over a decade, blending my passion for design, strategy, and storytelling.
I know what it takes to build something from the ground up, stretch a bootstrap budget, wear a million hats, and get scrappy when needed. Whether you’re a fresh startup or an established brand, I’d love to help you find your creative spark and bring your vision to life.
Let’s make something amazing together!
